A man's body was found in shallow water off New Smyrna Beach on Monday afternoon.
A group of people found the man's body floating in the water at about 1:45 p.m., dragged it ashore and called 911, according to Volusia County Beach Safety Ocean Rescue.
The 36-year-old man was reported missing in New Smyrna Beach on Sunday night. His identity has not been released.
