A SunRail train didn't have time to stop after a trailer got stuck on the tracks Monday afternoon in Longwood.

Investigators said the pickup truck pulling the trailer got stuck near the intersection of Ronald Reagan Boulevard and State Road 434 just before 5 p.m., causing a service delay on SunRail's northbound line.

Northbound service resumed a short time later.

SunRail officials said the crossing arms and warning lights were working properly, and Longwood police ticketed the pickup driver.

No one was hurt in the crash, and the train was able to finish its route.
