A SunRail train out of the Sand Lake Road station collided with a car Monday morning in Seminole County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 10:15 a.m. at West Airport Boulevard and Old Lake Mary Road, in Sanford.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Arthur Graham, 64, of Lake Mary, made a right turn into Airport Boulevard and traveled around the railroad stop arm bar.

The front of the SunRail train struck Graham's Chrysler 300 as he crossed the tracks.

Sgt. Kim Montes, of the Florida Highway Patrol, said there were nine passengers on board the train at the time of the crash.

No injuries were reported.

Jessica Kane, a spokeswoman with the Florida Department of Transportation, said there is no damage to the train or the tracks.

The tracks — both northbound and southbound — were clear as of 11:12 a.m., Kane said.

Graham was ticketed for driving around the railroad stop arm bars.
