A Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday finds former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush emerging as the Republican front-runner in Florida’s presidential primary.

Bush leads among Florida Republicans with 32 percent, followed by U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio with 15 percent, and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee with 11 percent.

In addition to Florida, the poll looked at presidential primaries in the other swing states of Ohio and Pennsylvania.

In Ohio, Gov. John Kasich gets 14 percent, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker 11 percent, and 10 percent each for Bush and U.S. Sen. Rand Paul.

In Pennsylvania, Bush gets 12 percent, New Jersey Gov. Christopher Christie 11 percent and 10 percent for former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.

In the Democratic race, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is the choice of more than 50 percent of Democrats in each state.

If Clinton chooses not to run, Vice President Joseph Biden leads the Democratic pack in Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania with tallies ranging from 28 percent to 39 percent.

The Swing State Poll focuses on Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania because since 1960 no candidate has won the presidential race without taking at least two of these three states.
