A 56-year-old woman was killed and three others were injured Sunday morning in a head-on collision in Osceola County crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Spencer Altschuler, 19, of Plantation, was traveling westbound on State Road 60 just after 9 a.m.

Ivery Walker, of Miami, was traveling eastbound on State Road 60.

According to witnesses, Altschuler was passing other westbound traffic and traveled into the eastbound lanes.

Altschuler failed to return to the westbound lane, and the front of his four-door Volkswagen struck the front of Walker's four-door Hyundai in a head-on collision, a report states.

Walker's vehicle then struck a guardrail and caught fire, troopers said.

Walker was pronounced dead at the scene. A 4-year-old female passenger was critically injured and a 6-year-old boy suffered serious injuries. The two children are cousins. Both children were taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, in Orlando.

Altschuler suffered minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation. Charges are pending.
