The FBI is now working with Altamonte Springs police to catch the two men involved in the shooting of a money courier at a Publix Thursday.

The courier's health is not improving right now.

Police said the shooter got away with the money bag full of cash. Investigators say he jumped into a gold Nissan Altima and took off.

They say the shooter and the getaway driver ditched that stolen car behind Publix in an apartment complex.

“I believe he’s a threat to society," siad Lt. Rob Pelton with Altamonte Springs police. "If you watch that video, he had every intent to shoot that courier.”

Grief counselors were on hand to help Publix employees deal with the incident.

At last check, the money courier was still in critical condition at ORMC.

Surveillance video shows a man waiting for the driver of a Loomis armored truck and then shooting him before 4 p.m. inside the Publix located along State Road 436 near Palm Springs Drive.

The video shows a man sitting down inside the lobby of the store and waiting to attack the driver of the money truck. The suspect is eventually seen getting up, walking out of the camera's view and preparing to attack.

When no one is around, the gunman reappears in view of the camera, walks up behind the money carrier and shoots him in the back of the head at least one time.
