Volusia County deputies need the public’s help to identify an airport baggage thief.

It happened Monday, Dec. 22, 2014 at Daytona Beach International Airport as a Delta flight was arriving from Atlanta with approximately 127 passengers on board.

Deputies said a woman with short brown hair and a red jacket, who may be between the ages of 45 and 55, took two suitcases that did not belong to her from the baggage carousel.

The suspect was then seen loading the bags into a green Honda Element at the curb.

According to 53-year-old victim from Daytona Beach Shores, each bag contained $1,500 worth of specialized cat-grooming equipment.
