Two people were hurt Sunday afternoon after a small plane crashed in Lake County.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said at around 1:50 p.m. they were notified by the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office that a plane had crashed in the area of County Road 435 in Sorrento.
Several emergency units responded to the scene.
Two people who were in the plane were injured and transported to the hospital for treatment.
Their names have not been released.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration.
