Orlando Police are trying to find three men responsible for a hate crime.

A woman walking home from Club Revolution Sunday morning told police three men shouted gay slurs at her.

Police said the men got out of their silver-colored car, pushed her down and attacked her.

Police say during the attack the men taunted the woman and said they wanted to punish her for her sexual orientation.

Police arrived to find the woman with blood on her clothes, scratches on her arms and a cut lip.
"It's based on those statements that the individuals were either targeting her or committed this crime based on her, whether it be real or perceived sexual orientation," said Sgt. Jim Young.

Police have a vague description of the woman's attackers. She told police the driver had short hair and was wearing a black T-shirt and khaki shorts.

They're hoping tips will help identify the men. If you have any information, call CrimeLine at (800) 423-TIPS (8477).
