A former Disney employee and pastor is in jail on charges that he looked at child porn while at work.

Deputies said 49-year-old Cedric Eugene Cuthbert was writing a sermon and watching the porn at the same time on his Disney computer at work. That’s how he was caught.

According to the arrest warrant, security measures at Disney found that their manager at the Port Orleans Resort was attempting to access unauthorized sites in late April. He was downloading pornographic videos involving underage girls.

At the same time, investigators said he was using his personal email to type a sermon for a church he pastors at the Historical St. James AME Church in Sanford.

Cuthbert was let go from Disney after working for seven years.

One of his church members said he can't believe his pastor would do something like this.

"He's a nice guy and he was very knowledgeable about the bible and he talked well and his sermon was always great, but I don’t know what happened. I have no idea,” said churchgoer Earnest Culberth.

According to the arrest affidavit, in an interview with investigators, Cuthbert admitted to searching for the pornographic images and said that he searched for underage pornographic images at his Sanford home more than five times.

He also sent an apology letter to his employers at Disney

Jail officials said Cuthbert is being held in a private jail cell, away from the general population because of the nature of the charges.

Cuthbert was charged with possession of material depicting sexual performance by child and solicitation of a minor via computer. He’s being held on $12,500 bond.
