Police said they have found the car belonging to a missing man whom investigators believe may have been kidnapped Friday, but the man's whereabouts remain unknown.
Jim Johnson Jr., 39, was last seen Friday morning at Goolies Barber Shop, on South Orange Blossom Trail.
Investigators Monday found his car, a white, 2012 Cadillac CTS, in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the area of Hiawassee Road and Colonial Drive.
Police said Johnson disappeared under suspicious circumstances, which is why they believe he was kidnapped.
The owner of the barber shop said Johnson was a regular there. He said nothing unusual happened inside the shop Friday, and no one said they saw anything happen in the parking lot outside.
"Nobody had seen nothing happen to him, and nothing happened to him in the shop," the owner said. "Nothing special, probably couldn't confirm that he was taken from up here. It's just speculation."
