Police have released video of a crash captured by one of the Apopka's red light cameras, showing a red light runner slamming into an SUV.
Apopka police said the crash happened around 6 a.m. Monday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 441 and State Road 451.
The video shows a red Chevrolet Cavalier running a red light and hitting a black Dodge Nitro SUV that was making a left turn.
The driver of the Cavalier, identified as Danny Holcomb of Leesburg, was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
Two people in the SUV were treated for minor injuries and released from Florida Hospital Apopka, police said.
