Someone broke into an apartment in Orlando and stole five guns, a case of ammo and some electronics.

Police said the burglars broke into an apartment on Yankee Place in the Belmont in Park Central Apartments complex, between John Young Parkway and Texas Avenue on Tuesday.

Police said the burglars removed the window screen to the bedroom, where they pulled an SKS rifle, a Remington 870 Express, a Colt M1991 with carbine conversion and an unknown brand .22 caliber rifle out of a closet.

They say the burglar also took a Colt .40 caliber handgun that was on a counter top in the kitchen, a case of 762x39 ammo, 100 rounds of .45 caliber ammo, and various electronics from a laptop to an XBox 360.

In all about $4,340 in items were stolen.

The burglary happened sometime between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday.
