  • Prior to the storm, it ran four times during Halloween Horror Nights event nights

Prior to the storm, the show ran four times during HHN event nights. Following the storm, once HHN resumed and the parks reopened, performances of the show were unavailable, causing many fans to wonder if Ghoulish had been canceled for the remainder of the event.

Universal, in response to a post on Twitter, said it was working to restore the lagoon and resume the show “as soon as possible.”

“Our teams are working hard to restore the Universal Studios lagoon following last week’s storm, and we plan to run Ghoulish! A Halloween Tale as soon as possible,” read the tweet.

Ghoulish, a new addition to this year’s Halloween Horror Nights, features fountains, lasers, Halloween music and lighting effects.

Halloween Horror Nights also offers a live stage show, Halloween Nightmare Fuel Wildfire, as well as 10 haunted houses and five scare zones.

The popular Halloween event runs select nights through Oct. 31.
