What You Need To Know

Disney World is opening up bookings for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser voyages in 2023. Starting Thursday, visitors can make reservations for the two-night experience for dates between Jan. 1 and Sept. 30, 2023.

Galactic Starcruiser debuted earlier this year and was touted as a first-of-its-kind interactive experience set aboard a luxury starcruiser. The experience is part hotel, part cruise ship, with a mix of live theater and role playing thrown in. While “on board” the ship, guests get to play out their own Star Wars stories by interacting with characters and participating in activities such as lightsaber training and bridge training.

Guests will also be able to leave the ship for an excursion to the planet of Batuu at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the Star Wars-themed land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

On the Galactic Starcruiser website, Disney lists sample pricing for the experience. For voyages from Aug. 21 through Sept. 14, rates are listed at $4,809 ($1,209 per person) for a two-night voyage that includes a two-person standard cabin. A four-person cabin can start at $5,999 or $749 per person.
