D23 Expo, scheduled for Sept. 9-11, will include presentations from Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.

Disney’s theme park segment recently revealed its plans for the upcoming convention. On the lineup will be the “Wonderful World of Dreams” pavilion on the show floor. Attendees can get a behind-the-scenes look at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the attraction replacing Splash Mountain at Disney World and Disneyland. The pavilion will also feature a glimpse at the ongoing transformation of Epcot as well as Disney Cruise Line.

Disney Parks Chairman Josh D’Amaro will also share new details about upcoming projects during the “A Boundless Future: Disney Parks Experiences and Products" panel on Sept. 11. Although Disney hasn’t announced what will be revealed during the presentation, some of the projects currently in development at Walt Disney World include TRON Lightcycle Run at Magic Kingdom and the Play! Pavilion at Epcot. So far, no opening date has been announced for TRON, which was first announced five years ago at the D23 Expo 2017. And as for the Play! Pavilion, the project is still on the table, but Disney hasn't shared any significant updates about it since announcing it in 2019.

In addition to updates, Disney has revealed a number of big projects for Walt Disney World at past D23 Expo events, including Pandora — The World of Avatar at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios, TRON Lightcycle Run and Disney Skyliner.

The convention will also feature several other presentations where attendees can learn more about Disney’s parks, including a few with Walt Disney Imagineering. Attendees will also get first access to a new digital avatar in the Play Disney Parks app called DisneyMe.

D23 Expo will also include presentations from different segments across Disney’s businesses, including Marvel and Pixar. The Walt Disney Company will also celebrate its 100-year history during the convention with a new exhibit from Walt Disney Archives called “Step in Time.” The 12,000-square-foot experience will include immersive areas with rare historical objects on display.
