Disney will soon roll out a new app feature to make it easier for guests to find their vehicles after a long day at the park.

What You Need To Know

  • New feature coming to the My Disney Experience app

  • Car Locator, launching this summer at Disney World, will help guests find their car

  • The feature will also be available at Disneyland later this year

The new feature called Car Locator (sponsored by State Farm) will be added to the My Disney Experience mobile app this summer, followed by launching on the Disneyland app later this year.

The complimentary feature will use location technology to save parking details.

Here’s how it works: After opening the car locator feature on the app, users will follow the prompts and enter their parking information. If location permissions are enabled on the mobile device, the details fill in automatically. When guests are ready to leave, they can open up the Car Locator feature and find their parking information.

In addition to the theme parks, the feature will be available for Disney Springs, Disney’s water parks and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Car Locator will join other features in the Disney app, including mobile checkout and mobile food ordering.
