ORLANDO, Fla. — It’s official. SeaWorld Orlando plans to open a new roller coaster in 2023.

What You Need To Know

The theme park didn’t reveal the coaster’s name or any other details, however, it did release renderings of the new ride along with this description:

“Guests are invited to get ready to feel the power of the Pacific right here in Florida, letting the waves propel them into a one-of-a-kind ocean adventure.”

SeaWorld also used the hashtag #HighSurfAdvisory in its announcement, offering another tease at what’s to come.

The park plans to share more details about this new coaster in “the coming months.”

Earlier this year, SeaWorld dropped hints about the project by referring to construction around the park as a “landscaping project.” It also shared a photo of teal-colored coaster tracks behind a pair of palm trees, but only acknowledged the trees in the caption.

The new coaster will be the park’s seventh, following the most recent addition, Ice Breaker, which debuted in February after multiple delays.
