ORLANDO, Fla. — As construction continues on TRON Lightycle Run at Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney Imagineering is sharing another behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming attraction.

​​Imagineers released a short video of the ride’s first full-speed launch test on its official Instagram account.

In addition to the launch, the video includes POV footage of the coaster traveling under the outside canopy.

When we last checked on construction progress back in March, the canopy was closer to completion and the walkways were more clearly visible.

An opening date for TRON Lightcycle Run has not yet been announced.

The highly-anticipated attraction will have riders board two-wheeled light cycle vehicles and enter “the Grid” as they race through a digital frontier. It will be similar to the TRON Lightcycle Power Run attraction at Shanghai Disneyland.
