The daytime show, located at the park's Discovery River Theater, will feature different types of kites including some that are 30 feet in length. The kites will depict characters from a variety of Disney films such "The Lion King," "The Jungle Book," "Finding Nemo" and "A Bug's Life."

Disney released a video Monday showing the some of the kites in action as the team prepares for the show's debut. Performers can be seen practicing some of the kites, and there are also brief glimpses of one of the kites being tested outside.

"We love to bring our show up close and in person" said Mark Renfrow, show director with Disney Live Entertainment, in the video. "You're going to see characters up close all in kite form. So think of it as multi-layered. You have one part of the show up close, you have one a little bit farther down, and then the sky full of Disney kites coming to life."

The new show arrives the same day Disney World kicks off its 18-month-long anniversary celebration. The resort will also debut two new nighttime shows –“Disney Enchantment" at Magic Kingdom and "Harmonious" at Epcot.
