ORLANDO, Fla. – Another hotel at Universal Orlando Resort will be reopening soon.

​Loews Sapphire Falls Resort has announced it will resume operations May 18.

“It’s time to return to island life at #LoewsSapphireFalls!,” read a post on the Universal Orlando Hotels Instagram account. “We’re excited to share that starting May 18 we will be welcoming guests back to paradise.”

The resort, along with Universal’s Aventura Hotel, reopened from a pandemic-related closure in June before closing again on August 21. Aventura remains closed and no reopening date has been announced for the hotel.

When Sapphire Falls reopens it will join a list of other Universal hotels that have resumed operations, including Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Cabana Bay Beach Resort, Hard Rock Hotel and Universal’s Endless Summer Resort—Dockside Inn and Suites.

Reservations for Sapphire Falls are open. Guests can now book their stay at universalorlando.com

The reopening comes ahead as Universal gets ready to debut its newest thrill ride, Jurassic World VelociCoaster, which opens June 10 at Islands of Adventure.
