ORLANDO, Fla. – The world’s longest fingernails are now on display at the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! attraction in Orlando.

What You Need To Know

  • Record-breaking nails on display at Ripley's Believe It or Not! in Orlando

  • Fingernails, which belonged to Ayanna Williams, measured in at just over 24 feet total

  • Williams had the nails cut after spending 30 years growing them

The fingernails, which altogether measured in at more than 24 feet, belong to Ayanna Williams, who spent the last 30 years growing them.

The Houston resident, who holds the Guinness World Record for the longest fingernails on a pair of hands (female), had her nails cut last month. Williams’ nails (referred to as “her babies”) were clipped by a certified dermatologist in Fort Worth, Texas during a 45-minute procedure.

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! acquired the record-breaking nails for an undisclosed amount.

Williams’ nails are not the first to be acquired by Ripley’s. In 2018, the company acquired nails that belonged to Shridhar Chillal. At 29 feet and 10.1 inches long, his nails were the longest ever recorded on a single hand. Those nails are on display in Amsterdam and New York City.

In addition to Williams’ nails the International Drive attraction features other oddities, artifacts, and memorabilia.
