ORLANDO, Fla. – SeaWorld Orlando is adding another character meet-and-greet to its Sesame Street Land for the month of April.

  • Julia from Sesame Street is visiting SeaWorld Orlando 

  • The character will appear for physically-distance meet and greets

  • The visit coincides with Autism Acceptance Month

Julia, the 4-year-old Sesame Street character with autism, will be appearing at the theme park as part of Autism Acceptance Month.

Visitors will be able to see Julia and take physically-distant photos with her on select days starting Friday and continuing through the end of the month.

Julia was first introduced on the long-running children’s TV series in 2015.

SeaWorld is an IBCCES certified Autism Center. The park has staff that has received special training to help visitors with autism and special needs. There are also quiet rooms available in the park, including one inside the Child Care Facility in Sesame Street Land.

SeaWorld has several enhanced health and safety measures in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Visitors are required to make park reservations in advances. The park also requires visitors to undergo temperature screenings and wear face masks. The park is also operating with limited capacity.
