  • Display now located outside the park entrance

  • Features new colorful design

  • Previous granite monoliths were removed in 2019

A portion of the newly-designed panels were recently installed and revealed Tuesday in a post on the official Disney Parks Blog. More panels will be installed this week.

The Leave A Legacy program, which first launched in 1999 as part of Disney’s Millennium Celebration, gave visitors a chance purchase commemorative tiles, which were then displayed on large granite monoliths near Spaceship Earth. The monoliths were removed in 2019 to make way for Epcot’s reimagined entrance and fountain.

Unlike the previous monoliths, the new Leave A Legacy panels are now located outside the park’s entrance and feature multiple colors that match Epcot’s new color scheme.

Visitors who purchased a tile can now use their mobile device to find it by scanning a QR code at the display or visiting epcottilefinder.com. The display features step-by-step instructions for how to locate individual tiles. Visitors also can go to guest relations at Epcot for assistance.

The new Leave A Legacy panels come as amid Epcot’s multi-year transformation, which includes new pathways, restaurants and attractions. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, located in the France pavilion, is expected to open this year.
