ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal Orlando has made an update to its app, allowing annual passholders to use their discounts when mobile ordering.

​​The update was pushed out Tuesday on the official Universal Orlando Resort app.

To receive their discounts, passholders will need to either scan their pass or manually enter their ID number when on the “My Order” screen.

Universal has expanded the mobile ordering option at more locations throughout its theme parks as part of its new safety measures amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Visitors are encouraged to use mobile ordering as well as other contactless payment options.

Universal Orlando reopened it theme parks earlier this month after a nearly three-month closure.
