ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Christmas Tree Trail has returned to Disney Springs.

  • Christmas Tree Trail features 27 themed trees
  • Trees inspired by Star Wars, Little Mermaid, Mickey Mouse
  • Santa meet-and-greet, holiday snacks and merchandise

The trail features 27 trees, each inspired by a different Disney character, film or theme park attraction.

Themes include Beauty and the Beast, Fantasia, Haunted Mansion, Mickey & Minnie Mouse, The Princess and the Frog, and Disney villains.

And for the Star Wars fans, there's a tree decorated with droids, jawas, stormtroopers and porgs. It even features a lightsaber for a tree topper.

Throughout the trail, themed posters are plastered on a wooden fence that surrounds the trail. One poster near The Princess and the Frog tree advertises "live music" at the Bug & Gator Jazz Festival. Another promotes Whosits & Whatsits, which sells "gadgets and gizmos aplenty" -- a nod to The Little Mermaid.

The trail also includes holiday music and, from time to time, falling snow

In addition to the festive trees, there's a meet-and-greet with Santa, a merchandise kiosk with Disney-themed ornaments and place to buy snacks like egg nog, gourmet cotton candy and gingerbread cookies.

The Disney Springs Christmas Trail is open each day from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. now through January 6.
