Rain chances return to close the work week. 

It’s been another mostly sunny and warm day across the area, with highs in the mid to upper 80s.

Expect just a few clouds this evening, as temps fall into the 70s. Clouds will increase overnight as a cold front moves through the region with lows in the mid 60s.

We’ll see a blend of sun and clouds Friday with a few showers along the coast. Highs for Friday will be in the low 80s, with windy conditions.

The threat for rain will continue heading into the weekend. Expect mostly cloudy skies Saturday with highs in the low 80s and a few rain showers.

Better rain chances will arrive Sunday. We’ll close the weekend with periods of rain and possibly a few claps of thunder. Highs for Sunday will be in the low 80s.

The rain chances march on heading into next week. Rain showers will likely be Monday, along with a few isolated storms. Highs for Monday will be in the mid 80s.

Drier weather does return for middle part of next week. A few rain showers will remain possible on Tuesday, but most will stay dry. Highs for Tuesday will be in the low 80s.

Quieter weather is on track for Wednesday and Thursday with temps in the low to mid 80s.
