Samir Sehic scored 17 points with seven rebounds off the bench and Melvin Frazier added 16 points and five assists to lead Tulane over South Florida 79-68 on Saturday to snap a six-game losing streak.

Caleb Daniels added 13 points and Jordan Cornish 11 with seven rebounds and five assists for the Green Wave (14-14, 5-11 American Athletic Conference), who shot 57 percent in the first half in taking a 41-28 lead.

David Collins scored 17 points, Stephan Jiggetts 14, Isaiah Manderson 12 and Payton Banks 10 for the Bulls (8-21, 1-15), whose only conference win came at Tulane, 80-75, on Jan. 25. The Bulls have lost eight straight since.

An 11-2 run with five points from Sehic and four from Daniels gave Tulane a 24-point lead with 13 minutes left. The Bulls were only able to get as close as nine in the final minute.

“Not an energetic enough effort from our guys today," said USF head coach Brian Gregory. "Defensive effort wasn’t where it needs to be. Rebounding effort wasn’t where it needs to be. We had some guys that did some good things, but we need multiple guys doing a lot of good things."
