Yahoo Sports has reported that the Orlando Magic and forward Amile Jefferson have agreed to a two-way player contract.

The former Duke player will play most of the season for the Lakeland Magic in the G League.  Jefferson played with the Minnesota Timberwolves' G League team last season, the Iowa Wolves, and averaged 17.8ppg and 12.8rpg.

Jefferson is a three-time former Duke captain and played on the Blue Devils' 2014–15 NCAA Championship team.

Jefferson's G League accomplishments include 2018 2nd Team All G League, 2018 G League All-Defensive Team and 2018 G League All-Rookie Team.

Jefferson, who attended Friends Central in Philadelphia, won the Gatorade Pennsylvania Player of the Year award in 2012.
