Tampa Catholic's Kevin Knox has been named the Florida Dairy Farmer's Mr. Basketball.

The award is given to the state's top player regardless of classification.

Knox becomes just the third player from a Hillsborough County school to win the award.

Knox averaged a double-double this past season, scoring nearly 29 points a game while also grabbing 11 rebounds a contest.

The McDonald's All-American helped lead the Crusaders to the 5A state finals earlier this month.
