MILWAUKEE — Amylu Foods has acquired Klement’s Sausage Company, a division of Tall Tree Foods.

Amylu Foods said the move aligns with its goal of “offering its customers premium, high-quality meat products.” Amylu will be able to diversify its offerings with snack sticks and summer sausages now in the company’s portfolio.

The company said acquiring Klement’s Sausage Company will also allow for enhanced production capacity.

While specific plans for the facilities are still being evaluated, their intention is to leverage these assets to enhance production capacity and expand our presence in the region," the Amylu Foods spokesperson said. 

Klement’s Sausage Company was founded in 1956 by the three Klement brothers. It crafts its sausages — including snack sticks, smoked sausages and summer sausages — from old family recipes via small-batch production. The company was acquired by Altamont Capital Partners in 2014.
