BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – A Brevard County waiter is accused of stealing credit card numbers from dozens of customers at restaurants where he worked.

Kevin Harris was arrested last week by Brevard County deputies.

The Sheriff's Office said Harris photographed 25 customers' credit cards and used them to make more $10,000 in online purchases. Harris also used the credit cards to buy gift cards and use them to pay the bills of customers who paid in cash, deputies said. Harris would then pocket the cash.

Deputies said in addition to stealing credit card numbers, Harris stole items from 10 different business in Brevard County. Harris, according to investigators, would pawn the items for cash, making off with more than $6,000.

Harris was booked into the Brevard County Jail and faces multiple charges, including fraudulent use of a credit card, scheme to defraud, criminal use of personal information, grand theft and dealing in stolen property.
