ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A person had died in Orange County following a crash between a vehicle and motorcycle Wednesday afternoon, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers say the deadly crash between the vehicle and motorcycle happened just before 12:30 p.m. on Palm Parkway and Apopka Vineland Road.
Lt. Kim Montes with FHP says one person was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, while another person was taken to an area hospital as a trauma alert.
It’s currently unclear whether the motorcyclist or the driver of the vehicle was killed.
Officials closed Palm Parkway in both directions following the crash.
