  • Man accused of exposing himself to girl at Aquatica
  • Gerald Youmans is a registered sexual predator
  • The girl told investigators Youmans lifted up shorts

Gerald Youmans, 52, faces one charge of lewd and lascivious exhibition.

The incident happened on February 9 at the water park's dolphin viewing area.

The girl told her foster dad that Youmans, who was sitting on a park bench nearby, had lifted up the leg of his shorts and exposed his penis. The man told an off-duty Orange County deputy that he confronted Youmans who then left the park.

The man followed Youmans to the parking lot and saw him get into a silver Honda.

Deputies later determined the vehicle was registered to Youmans, a registered sexual predator.

During an interview with investigators the following week, the girl identified Youmans in a photo-lineup.

Aquatica's security officials told investigators that Youmans is an annual passholder and used his pass to enter the park on February 9.

Youmans was arrested and booked into the Orange County Jail on Friday.

According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement sex offender registry, Youmans was convicted of exposing himself to a child in Palm Beach in 2004.
