A 5-K will start the Walt Disney World Marathon this weekend.

The cool weather is not stopping the estimated 14,300 runners at Epcot early Thursday morning who are taking part in the runDisney.

Disney says in total, 100,000 people will be coming to Central Florida during what would otherwise be a slow season, which will provide a nice boost to area hotels and restaurants.

It is one of the largest sporting events of the year in Central Florida.

On Friday, there will be a 10k, Saturday is the half marathon and then Sunday is the big full marathon through all the Disney parks.
