A Florida Missing Child Alert issued for a 16-year-old Michael Sparks from Marion County has been canceled.

The alert was canceled Monday night. No further details were released by FDLE.

Sparks was initially last seen on Feb. 28 in the area of Southeast 156th Place Road in Weirsdale, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Sparks is described as being 6 feet tall and 200 pounds with light brown hair and hazel-colored eyes. Authorities said he has a deep dimple and scar on his chin.

He was last seen wearing a Mickey Mouse sweatshirt and black pants.

Family members told authorities that Sparks has different medical conditions. They also said he made comments that caused concern for his safety.
