When the Easter Bunny's around, we know it's also nesting season -- a photographer's delight.

Gatorland is now of giving guest special access to guests to click away before and after regular park hours.

The Photographers Pass is something John Wise of Hunter's Creek utilizes at least twice a week.

"I like afternoons myself, just when it's starting to get a little later in the day," the photographer told Spectrum News 13, showing us his very expensive-looking camera.

He says it takes a lot of clicks to get the keeper.

"Something that's a unique set of circumstances -- the bird's just in the right place, the light's in the right place," he said.

Gatorland's media productions manager Brandon Fisher said about 10 to 15 species of birds hang out in the 10-acre breed marsh.

"There's nests that have eggs in them, there's nests that already have babies," Fisher said. "One of the pair, [the] male or female, will go out during the day [and] get food, and then they'll come back at night and they nest and roost for the night."

As the birds are doing their thing, 227 gators are also marsh "residents."

"Gators love to eat fish, turtles and birds, so birds are on their menu!" he said, explaining their symbiotic relationship.

As for Wise, we wanted to know what he does with all of his pics.

"Yeah, well that's the problem -- what to do with them, you know," he laughed. "We all have great quantities of these pictures... In my case, I send them to England. I enter competitions in England."
