More than 2,000 homes were without power for about two hours early Wednesday morning after a vehicle crashed into a utility pole in Orange County.

The crash happened near Good Homes Road at about 4 a.m. and took out power to Duke Energy customers. By 6 a.m., all but 53 homes had power restored.

Temperatures were in the upper 40s in Orange County early Tuesday morning.

The Florida Highway Patrol and the Orange County Sheriff's Office have not released details yet on the crash nor the condition of the driver; check back for updates.
