The shooter in Saturday's double murder-suicide attempt at Ocala National Forest has died, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office.

Kevin Benjamin Olesen Farias has died from "his self-inflicted injuries" at the hospital, according to the Sheriff's Office in an announcement on Monday morning. It was not stated when he died.
The 27-year-old Farias is accused of shooting to death Jessica Johnson, 32, from Wisconsin, and their daughter, 1-year-old Gabriela Farias, according to deputies.
At around 10:52 a.m., deputies received a call in the area near Forest Road 88 from a person who found two dead people and an injured man.
