ORLANDO, Fla. — A man on an electric scooter was struck and killed while trying to cross Orange Blossom Trail on Monday night.

The fatal crash happened at about 8:50 p.m. at the intersection of Americana Boulevard.
The man was riding eastbound on Americana and was trying to cross Orange Blossom Trail when he was struck by a man driving northbound in a Honda Accord on a green light, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said the man traveled into the direct path of the Honda.
Troopers haven't been able to identify the man who was killed, and they said it's unclear who's at fault.
The investigation is ongoing.
