DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Some 60 people were evacuated from Daytona Beach International Airport after workers heard a noise in a bag, which turned out to be an electric toothbrush.

The airport says a Delta crew member found the suitcase Thursday afternoon, and the noise coming from the bag caused them to alert authorities.

The Volusia County Sheriff's Office sent in their bomb squad to examine the bag, which found the electric toothbrush.

Airport officials defended the evacuation, saying they had to take all precautions.
