ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A woman is accused of being intoxicated at a Red Lobster location, and reaching into a tank and stealing a lobster when she was told to leave.

The incident happened Saturday morning at the restaurant on 34th Street North.

According to a Pinellas County Sheriff's Office report, 42-year-old Kimberly Gabel was "causing a scene" at the restaurant when she was approached by a manager.

The manager asked Gabel to leave, and she began cursing, walked to the front door and took a live lobster from a tank and ran outside.

She was found a short time later and told deputies she was "blacked out drunk" and didn't know what she did with the lobster.

Gabel was charged with disorderly intoxication.

Deputies said Gabel was homeless and has been charged in the past with public intoxication.
