Marion County deputies have arrested four suspects, three of them teens, in connection to nine vehicle burglaries over the weekend.

Cameron Jelis Gezel, 21, one 16-year-old and two 15-year-olds are charged with several burglary and grand theft charges in connection to nine vehicle burglaries in Silver Spring Shores.
On Sunday, witnesses told deputies they saw a vehicle turn on their road, and that two men exited the vehicle and tried to get into other vehicles at a nearby residence.
The witnesses reportedly said they yelled at the suspect to leave, and one of the suspects pointed a handgun out the window and fired three times into the air.
Witnesses then told deputies that they saw the suspects’ vehicle leaving Walmart. According to deputies, they then conducted a traffic stop and located Gezel and a teen suspect.
The teen suspect was reportedly driving without a license, says deputies, and he and Gezel had dropped off the remaining suspects at the Walmart. They were also found and taken into custody.
According to Gezel, the suspects went “car-hopping” to get money to purchase marijuana. They would break into vehicles and look for valuables, he told deputies.
Authorities said that most of the stolen possessions have been recovered by deputies and returned to the owners.
The teens are being held at Marion County Juvenile Detention Center. Gezel is being held at Marion County Jail on $75,000 bond.
