ORLANDO, Fla. -- A man was killed in a early morning shooting in downtown Orlando, police say.

Officers responded just before 3 a.m. to 62 West Jefferson Street and found a man who had been shot.

CPR was administered to the man, but he later died.

The man was later identified as 26-year-old D'Javan S. Gayden.

"I was stunned when I got the news this morning," saidn Brenda Randall, a friends of Gayden's. 

Randall was with Gayden at a club in the Midway area Friday night.

"He did not look like anything bothered him," she said. "He was happy, and that was last I seen him."

Gayden later made his way to the dowtown area. An Orlando Police Department sergeant was in the area and heard gunshots.

The officer responded to the Jefferson Street Garage and found Gayden lying on the ground with a gunshot wound.

Investigators say they don't have any leads on a suspect. 

Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.

A $5,000 Crimeline reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
