  • 55-year-old man taken to Holmes Regional Medical Center

It happened about 11 a.m. at a home under construction on Webbwood Avenue.

Palm Bay Fire Rescue said the 55-year-old man was working in a bucket truck and made contact with an electrical line.

A neighbor heard a boom, then her power flickered inside her house.

"It was a loud noise. I thought it was a transformer or something. Then I saw everyone down at the house being built, so I figured it had to be something down there," Rebecca Rhodes said.

The man was taken to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne to be treated for electrical burns. There was no immediate word on his condition.
