APOPKA, Fla. — Several students were hurt when their school bus collided with a pickup truck Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened in the area of Clarcona Road and East 13 Street.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the front of the school bus crashed into the front of a 2002 Dodge pickup truck when they were both trying to cross an intersection.
Two students were transported to an area hospital, and five others refused transportation, per the request of their parents.
All of the injuries appear to be minor.
The driver of the pickup truck was transported to a hospital with minor injuries. He was also given a ticket for driving with a suspended license.
There were a total of 14 students on board. They were coming home from an Orange County schools program.
