ORMOND BEACH, Fla. -- One of two people who were injured when a tree fell during a thunderstorm in Ormond Beach has died.

Benjamin Allen, 56, and another person were moving furniture at a residence on Arroyo Parkway when a tree fell on them.

Neighbors performed CPR on Allen until emergency personnel arrived at the scene.

Allen was transported to Halifax Hospital in critical condition. The second person, whose identity was not released, suffered minor injuries.

Allen died Monday from his injuries, Ormond Beach Police said.
