ORLANDO, Fla. -- We had a little bit of sunshine to start out our Monday, which helped to boost temperatures quickly into the 90s.

Scattered showers and storms developed during the afternoon that helped to cool things down a bit, but the humidity stayed high. It felt closer to 100 degrees.

Our active weather pattern will be sticking around this week with a decent chance for storms each day.

A lot of the storms will wind down early, but an isolated shower cannot be completely ruled out overnight. Expect mostly cloudy skies with temperatures in the mid-70s as we head toward daybreak Tuesday.

A few showers may impact our Tuesday morning, but most will be quiet until the afternoon. There is a decent chance for rain throughout the day under mostly cloudy skies.

The clouds and rain will help lower temperatures from time to time, but highs will still reach to around 90 degrees.

With breezy wind out of the south-southwest, storm movement will be to the north-northeast. Showers and storms, along with seasonable temperatures, will stick around the rest of the week.

Watch for those developing storms if planning anything outside or heading to the beach. Breezy winds will create a chop on the water Tuesday as a moderate rip current threat sticks around.
