ORLANDO, Fla. -- Investigators continue to look for a vehicle thought to be involved the triple shooting Monday afternoon that ended the life of a 21-year-old pregnant mother and left two children hurt.

Imelda Francois was killed in the Pine Hills-area shooting, which injured 11-month-old Kameren Williams and 13-year-old Dyanna Laurent, both who were taken to hospitals and are expected to recover from nonlife-threatening injuries.

The 6-month-old fetus Francois was carrying did not survive, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.

Detectives say that before 2:30 p.m., the children were sitting inside a silver car with Francois and three other people -- a 21-year-old man, a 15-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy -- when a white older-model Chevrolet Malibu sedan with two black males pulled up, and one or both of the males began shooting.

Deputies who were already in the neighborhood responding to a different situation, heard multiple gunshots and rushed to the area along Dunsford and Gamble drives.

There, they found a car riddled with bullets, authorities say.

Francois was struck several times in the driver's seat. She died at a hospital. The three other people in the car were not injured.

"I'm praying for that family, and praying God sustain them, because there are no words that can be said," said Bishop Kelvin Cobaris with Impact Church. "All we can do as a community is huddle around and show love and support to that family."

Investigators have been interviewing a man who deputies say is the toddler's father and Francois' boyfriend.

A vigil is planned at the shooting location at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

A reward is being offered in an effort to identify the owner of the sedan. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477).
