OCALA, Fla. -- Ocala Fire responded to reports of a vehicle fire Monday morning at the 2200 block of NW 31st Ave.

As the units approached the scene at 6 a.m., firefighters were informed that a nearby mobile home was also threatened by the fire.

Once on the scene, firefighters discovered a Chrysler consumed in flames.

Starting from the areas close to the mobile home and around the vehicle, firefighters began restraining the fire with a preconnected hose.

Ocala Fire entered the mobile home structure to check for extension of flames and found the exterior flashing, and smoking.

Firefighters used approximately 30 gallons of water to cool the flashing.

Inside of the mobile were three occupants and a dog who exited unharmed.

No injuries were reported from this incident.
